Imagine Chad standing on the first tee box… He’d clap his hands, give a fist pump, and say, “Let’s do this!”

Well we did, and it was an amazing weekend. This was much more than just a golf tournament, it was a two-day event that with live music, great food, golf and plenty of time for all of Chad’s friends and family to reconnect. In true Chad Nelson fashion, it was a fun tournament for all, with lots of prizes, and lots of new memories made. Along with all the fun and prizes, we’re very excited to report that we had a successful effort in raising money for Children’s Home Society’s Creative Arts Endowment. When it was all said and done the Nelson Classic raised over $14,000 through the help of its participants and sponsors.

Supporting this cause on Chad’s behalf is a great fit. Not only did Chad heavily support CHS, but he also promoted the arts with his active role in the South Dakota Advertising Federation. We’re honored to continue his efforts, by holding this event.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the next Nelson Classic.
